Game Rules & Fair Play Policy
Published rules for gameplay, accounts, PvP, economy, automation, events, security and community conduct.
Scope, hierarchy and fair-play principle
Arcadia is a persistent No Reset world built on published rules that apply equally to players, purchasers, creators, guild masters and staff acquaintances. Purchases or status do not buy administrative immunity or private competitive advantages.
These Rules operate together with the Terms of Service, Enforcement & Appeals Policy and specific published event rules. A specific event rule controls only that event. Doing indirectly through another Account, device or person what is prohibited directly is also prohibited.
Accounts, multi-accounting and shared households
- One person may control a maximum of 6 Accounts simultaneously. The limit follows the person, not the IP address, computer, VPN, network or residence.
- Multiple real players may play from the same household. A shared IP by itself is not proof of prohibited multi-accounting.
- Using extra PCs, virtual machines, mobile data, VPN/proxy, remote access or another person to expand one person’s six-Account limit is evasion.
- VPN or proxy use is not automatically prohibited. Using it to evade an Account limit, restriction, sanction, territorial control or security measure is prohibited.
- Selling, renting, exchanging or commercially transferring Accounts is prohibited. Voluntary non-commercial credential sharing is at the owner’s risk, does not expand the six-Account limit or transfer ownership, and may require owner verification in recovery disputes. Losses caused by voluntarily shared access may not be reversible.
PvP, PK, KS, spots and normal competition
On PvP channels, public spots, bosses and hunting areas do not belong to a player or guild. PK, KS, contesting a spot, taking it after defeating another player, and competing for bosses or resources are normal MU gameplay and are not punishable harassment by themselves.
Newbie/Non-PvP protections, safe zones and published event rules must be respected. Competition becomes punishable when it involves prohibited tools, exploits, credible threats, doxxing, targeted out-of-game harassment or another independently prohibited act.
Guild diplomacy, rivalries, alliances and non-threatening competitive trash talk are allowed unless a specific event rule says otherwise.
MU Helper, Off-Level and automation
- MU Helper, Off-Level, Off-Trade and other automation expressly provided by Arcadia are allowed within their published configuration and limits.
- External bots, autoclickers, timed or repetitive macros, programmed sequences, pixel/image/screen detection, packet automation and input broadcasting to multiple clients are prohibited.
- A simple 1:1 remap is allowed only when one physical input produces one normal game input with no sequence, timing, repetition or broadcasting.
- Normal streaming, recording, communication and GPU overlays are allowed if they do not modify the client, automate actions or read protected data to create an advantage.
Cheats, client integrity and unauthorized tools
- Cheats, injectors, memory editors, debuggers used to alter gameplay, speed tools, or tools that alter attack/movement speed, range, targeting, cooldowns, animations, damage or other protected behavior.
- Modifying, fabricating, replaying or manipulating packets; bypassing the launcher, anticheat, process controls, file checks or integrity systems.
- Unauthorized modification of executables, DLLs, protected files or network behavior to gain advantage or evade security.
- Creating, distributing, selling, testing for others, promoting or helping conceal a cheat or bypass.
Bugs, exploits, duplication and illicit gains
Accidentally encountering a bug is not automatically an offense. Once a player recognizes that an action creates an abnormal advantage, duplicate, reward, bypass or economic effect, the player must stop and report it privately through Support.
Repeating, scaling, automating, teaching, concealing, selling or transferring the benefit is prohibited. Publishing reproducible steps while the issue remains exploitable may also be prohibited when it materially facilitates abuse.
- Do not test a suspected dupe or reward multiplication on alternate Accounts.
- Do not move, sell, destroy or conceal suspicious assets to obstruct an investigation.
- Knowingly receiving, storing, converting or laundering items/currency from an exploit or dupe is prohibited.
- Arcadia may remove direct and indirect gains, reverse trades, correct statistics and perform a focused or wider rollback where technically necessary.
Economy, RMT, gifts and scams
Normal in-game trading, price speculation, negotiation and genuine gifts are allowed. Arcadia does not guarantee the market price of any virtual item and may rebalance economic sources and sinks to protect the game.
- Buying, selling or exchanging Accounts, items, Arcash/credits, Zen, leveling, farming, carries, guild control or other Arcadia value for money, cryptocurrency, gift cards, goods or external services is prohibited unless Arcadia expressly provides or authorizes that channel.
- A genuine gift with no external compensation is not RMT. Disguising a sale as a gift is prohibited.
- Trade scams, fake receipts, phishing, deliberate item misrepresentation, impersonation and coordinated fraudulent trades are prohibited.
- Moving value through mule Accounts to hide RMT, fraud, exploits, payment reversals or sanctions is prohibited.
Events, rankings and competitive integrity
- Win trading, agreed losses, feeding kills through owned/coordinated Accounts, artificial score farming or other arrangements intended to fabricate a result that was not genuinely contested.
- Using alternate Accounts to multiply a reward when an event, promotion or system limits participation by person, Account, device or another published unit.
- Exploiting geometry, scoring, disconnects, queues or technical faults in an event to gain an unintended advantage.
- Bribing, threatening or improperly pressuring staff, referees or organizers for a competitive outcome or private benefit.
Referrals, promotions and rewards
- Self-referrals, fake new users, circular referrals, fabricated eligibility or controlled alts used to claim awards intended for distinct new players are prohibited.
- Creating, buying or coordinating Accounts mainly to multiply unique, seasonal or per-person rewards outside the published eligibility is prohibited.
- Arcadia may remove duplicated promotional value and exclude Accounts from a promotion when eligibility was manipulated.
Impersonation, phishing and false evidence
- Impersonating staff, another player, creator, guild master or official channel to deceive or obtain value.
- Requesting passwords, distributing fake login/payment/download links, phishing or malware.
- Knowingly false reports, fabricated evidence or materially edited evidence presented as proof of a violation.
Chat, harassment, advertising and safety
Ordinary non-threatening competitive banter, disagreement and trash talk are not automatically harassment. Moderation focuses on safety, privacy, severe targeted abuse and sustained disruption.
- Credible threats, doxxing, stalking, publishing private information, targeted discriminatory abuse, sexual exploitation or attempts to endanger a minor.
- Malware, malicious links, disruptive spam/flood and deliberate evasion of a communication restriction.
- Advertising or recruiting for other private MU servers, RMT services, cheats, phishing or malicious services. A neutral, non-promotional reference is not automatically advertising.
- Account, character, guild or shop names/content that impersonate staff, violate law/rights, contain prohibited material or deliberately disrupt the service may be renamed or removed.
Infrastructure and service security
- DDoS/denial of service, unauthorized scanning or intrusion, credential attacks, service disruption and unauthorized access attempts against systems or data.
- Manipulating connections, clients or infrastructure to disconnect competitors, duplicate state, evade restrictions or obtain an in-game advantage.
- Distributing malware, stolen credentials or confidential Arcadia security information.
Staff, support and equal treatment
Purchases, donations, creator status, guild size, personal relationships or past support do not buy edited characters, ranking, private drops, immunity from Rules or preferential administrative treatment.
Account ownership, payments, sanctions, security and private evidence must be handled through official Support tickets. A public Discord argument or GM direct message does not replace the formal channel.
During a security incident or live event, authorized staff may issue a clear temporary instruction necessary to preserve integrity or safety. It must be limited to that incident and is not unlimited discretion.
Reports, cooperation and indirect participation
- Report exploits and serious violations privately and preserve original evidence.
- Retaliating against a reporter or witness through threats, doxxing or prohibited harassment is prohibited.
- Directing, financing, facilitating, concealing or knowingly benefiting from prohibited conduct may be sanctioned even when another Account performs the final action.
- Linked Accounts may be investigated when evidence shows common control, coordination or illicit value transfer; a shared IP alone is insufficient.
